We haven’t played very many shows, so if you’ve managed to see us, you’re one of the “lucky” ones (?!!!).

Here is a list of the various venues we’ve played…..

19.05.07 – Heathlands Hotel.  We started with a big one: helping Little Steven B and Keiko to celebrate their wedding day!
25.05.07 – Harewoodstock.
24.05.08 – Harewoodstock.
17.07.08 – ETC College (entertaining staff, students and friends and family).
09.08.08 – Shaw Suite, Gervis Road (Brian’s 50th Birthday Party).
17.07.09 – Three Tuns, Bransgore (Rich, Steve, John, Pete and Guy) Not a PONR Gig: the band was called KKF.

Then a gap of over 5-years!

27.09.14 – Harewoodstock.
09.10.15 – Winchester Arms (to help celebrate the Helluvit Sports Car Club’s 10th Anniversary).  We performed with John Hole on vocals and acoustic guitar and called ourselves “The Helluvit Blues Band” – for one night only!
13.06.17. – Eden (part of Bournemouth’s Jazz by the Sea festival).
16.08.19. – Hotel Celebrity (a charity fundraiser – for the children of Togo, organised by Natty).

Have we missed a few?

Then we performed quite a lot of impromptu – socially-distanced – shows during the pandemic on the bandstand at Fisherman’s Walk, Southbourne.

2023 –  Along with A-OK and The Other Chaps, we represented Bournemouth for the UK-leg of the Bournemouth-Lucerne Twinning Association’s band exchange project, with a superb Swiss Hard Rock covers band called Parkhouse as the headline act at:

– Poole Hill Brewery, Bournemouth.

– The Bell, Pokesdown, Bournemouth.

2024 – Once again with The Other Chaps as support, in turn we supported the magnificent Swiss hard rockers Parkhouse as we represented Bournemouth for the Swiss-leg of the Bournemouth-Lucerne Twinning Association’s band exchange project at:

The magnificent Swiss Hard Rock band Parkhouse, the Bournemouth-based Prog and Blues Rockers The Point of No Return band and Chap Rock band The Other Chaps

– Pyramide at Meggen, near Lucerne.  Quite a posh crowd assembled to enjoy some eccentric music by your favourite Bournemouth-based prog and blues rockers…

– Sedel, Lucerne.  What a brilliant venue – a former prison, it looked somewhat scary with its graffiti and punk / metal posters, but it was as friendly a place as you could hope for!

27.09.24 – September Serenade.  Once more with The Other Chaps as support, we played a show at Poole Hill Brewery (probably our current favourite locale – recently renamed as the Triangle Taphouse).  What a fabulous atmosphere!

As it stands, we have only one show pencilled in for 2025, but it’s likely to be a hummdinger:

Friday 7th March, 2025 at the Triangle Taphouse (formerly known as Poole Hill Brewery).

Watch this space for news of where else we might pop up in 2025!
